Mark's "Keys to the City" - Intro
2009
A year ago Mark MalkoffI started researching the history of the Key to the City of New York. Mark discovered there's no real criteria to being bestowed the honor. The key is awarded to a full range of people including heroes, actors and actresses, athletes, musicians, government officials, and foreign leaders. The list was so broad it got Mark wondering if it would be possible to travel the country and see if heI could get mayors to present him with their key to the city. |

Mark on AirTran
2009
Mark Malkoff stayed for a month on a plane to get over his fear of flying. He's struggled with the fear for years. HeI knew it was an irrational fear. Statistically it's by far the safest mode of transportation. He conquered his fear by “living” his life at 35,000 feet thanks to AirTran and in-flight WiFi service from Gogo.
Mark broke a Guinness World Record for the most flights taken in a 30-day period. 135 flight segments beats the previous record of 128. |
